GOLF
" Golf requires focus, dedicated practice and skill and is a steadily emerging sport at King Edward VII School. One that supports the School's values and traditions. "
Not yet a major sport in the School but it certainly 'packs a punch'. The golf club is very proud of its membership and growth and makes sure that it upholds the values and traditions for which King Edward VII is so well known.
The club is based at the Killarney Country Club and boasts three teams playing in the CGGU Schools leagues. The environment is competitive, but also fun and we welcome all abilities as we grow the game in the School.
KES boasts many famous golf players who have gone on to achieve greatness in the sport. The most notable golfer produced by the School is Gary Player, arguably one of the finest golfers of all time.
We encourage all learners to come and be part of a vibrant club where values and tradition co-exist with fun and comradeship.
