SPORTS FACILITIES

"  The School enjoys the benefits of world-class sports facilities, including a state-of-the-art Aquatic Centre, a High Performance Centre and weather-proof cricket nets.  "

  • MARK STEVENS AQUATIC CENTRE

The exceptional generosity of a loyal Old Boy benefactor, Mark Stevens, culminated in the completion of a 12-month project, to create a `game changing` new aquatics facility for both our Schools. In pursuit of further enhancing the look and feel of our campus, the new Aquatic Centre has been conceived with inputs from a number of professionals, and embraces the following.

    • Lightning protection
    • Fully covered roofing, thus permitting usage throughout inclement weather conditions
    • Retention of the heritage component of the old swimming pool complex
    • Aesthetically pleasing architecture, providing yet another dimension to our campus
    • Two swimming pools, one of which will have  'learn to swim' lane functionality
    • Suitably appointed change rooms and new separate ablutions for all visitors
    • Multi-purpose internal space to allow for a variety of usage options

Recent updates to the High-Performance Centre include the following.

    • Additional mezzanine level built for a state of the art ergo facility
    • The high impact flooring installed for additional safety – specifically designed for weight dropping
    • Additional and new storage area
    • Further electronics and technology installed
  • CRICKET NETS
