TENNIS

King Edward VII School prides itself on producing quality tennis players and over the past few years there has been a vast improvement in the standard of tennis as well as the number of learners involved in the sport.

The First team is currently in the Premier League and the Second team is in League 1A, while the other teams occupy various different sections.

Tennis is played at Old Edwardians due to the number of courts needed and the number of teams. The First team enters various tournaments over and above the league and inter high, while the First and Second teams also play in a Winter League. Added to this, the School participates in various tours.

The First and Second teams have a professional coach who supplements the educators' involvement.

" Tennis has been a sport at King Edward VII School since the 1950s and the School has produced a number of highly successful, very talented players. "
