KES Shop is situated at

2 Ash Street, cnr of Ash and St. Johns Road (opposite the Aquatic Centre)

3. Cash – excluding over the counter transactions (KES is a cashless campus)
4. Cash deposits – please do not make bank cash deposits as the Shop incurs high charges for these transactions and you will be liable for these.
5. Pre-Paid Accounts - the Shop runs pre-paid accounts for all boys. Funds in accounts can be used throughout the year for School Shop purchases only. Cash withdrawals are not allowed.
6. Account Top-up Payments - cash, credit/debit card in the Shop or by EFT. If topping up by EFT, please email proof of payment to rbotha@kes.co.za as the Shop does not have immediate access to the School Shop bank account. Please do not make bank cash deposits as you will be liable for the bank charges incurred.
7. Over the Counter Transactions Payments by credit or debit card or from funds in pre-paid accounts. We do not accept Diners/American Express cards. We do not have a SnapScan facility.

Credit: the Shop is not authorised to give credit under any circumstances. All purchases must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.

Grade 8 boys are encouraged to carry a KES Eddy Teddy mascot in their inside blazer pocket.

STATIONERY

• The School Shop stocks compulsory stationery packs/calculators/PVC book covers and a small range of basic items.
• Stationery for Senior Grades 10/11/12 (besides specific KES items) should be sourced from general stores.
• The School Shop does not sell diaries – if this is needed it should be purchased from general stores.
• Compulsory Grade 8 & 9 Stationery Packs/Senior Art/EGD Packs & KES Afrikaans literature are only available from the School Shop.

TEXTBOOKS

• The KES appointed book agent is Amanda Johnson & Co.
• Book lists and order forms, with the order procedure, are accessible from the agent’s website -  www.amandajohnson.co.za. It is recommended that new text books be ordered from Amanda Johnson & Co.
• The School Shop does NOT sell new textbooks, but may have some secondhand textbooks. These can only be purchased in the Shop, over the counter.
• Please do not phone or email to enquire about secondhand text books.
• NB: Workbooks must be new purchases as secondhand workbooks would have answers/workings filled in from previous years.
• Grade 12 - Afrikaans Literature/Poems and the Grade 12 KES Workbook are only available through the School Shop.
• Grade 8 and 9 Art books are sold as part of the Art Pack. Replacement books, however, are available for purchase during the course of the year.
